SERVICES - SOCIAL SECURITY
 |
Commonly misinterpreted to only provide retirement benefits, Social Security is a Federal platform that also contains a complex disability component. Disability is more common than you think, especially in the workplace. When injuries occur that result in disability, there are two Social Security Disability programs where victims of injury, accident or disease can apply for monetary compensation or benefits.
In simple terms, Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) provides monthly payment to those who are too young to retire, unable to continue in their originally hired positions, and have worked enough quarters to qualify as an applicant for benefits. The second is Supplement Security Income (SSI). In this program, Social Security provides benefits to those who have not worked enough quarters to apply for the SSDI.
Proof of Disability is required under the Social Security Administration in order to quality for either program. Over 95% of applicants are denied their Social Security benefits on their initial claim. The attorneys at Disability Law Advocates Group can turn the odds in your favor. Our offices spanning from Philadelphia all the way out to Scranton, PA will carefully construct your file and represent you at your hearing, giving you the best possible chance of success.

I was nervous because I'd had a previous injury. But Adam and Aaron kept me informed during the whole process and always answered the phone when I had questions. I could not believe the settlement they got me!
